Access by road through the highway A-8 (E-15): once in the A-8 take exit 185 (beranga, Noja, Isla); keep going all the time towards Isla-Noja until reaching the 5th round-above (the largest one), where you will follow the direction Isla-Arnuero; keep going straight for 1.5 km. and you will arrive in Arnuero. La Casona is located 200 mts from the Church.

The Marsh “Joyel” is part of the Natural Park of the “Santoña” Marshlands. In Joyel you will find the tidal mill of Santa Olaja, a visit not to miss.
In Arnuero, 200 mts. from the “Casona”, you will find the Asunción Church and the Art Observatory with a magnificent exhibition of the master craftsmen and builders of the Transmiera region and a broad range of cultural proposals. Another unique space is the historic center of Isla, with the Palace of the Earls of Isla and the Church of San Julian as the main monuments.

“Isla´s Beaches”. Beaches of Cantabria.
Near the “Casona del Agua” you will be able to enjoy some of the best beaches of Cantabria.
Within the territory of the Municipality of Arnuero, you will find within less than 5km. the beaches of Isla: el Sable y la Arena, both easily accessible and awarded with the European Blue Flag, the Q of touristic quality and the environmental certification. El Sable beach is located close to the urban area and its waters are quiet, while la Arena beach is almost virgin and has a naturist area. Along the estuaries of Quejo and Arena, you will also find small and peaceful creeks in which you will isolate yourself from the summer hustle.
Also in an approximate distance of 5 km. you will find the beaches of Ris, Tregandi y Helgueras, in the Municipality of Noja.
A bit farer away, there is a range of beaches, including Berria in Santoña; Galizano, Langre and Loredo in Somo, or the huge beach of Laredo.

¿Cómo llegar?
El acceso por carretera se realiza a través de la A-8 (E-15). País Vasco, Navarra, La Rioja, Aragón y Cataluña deberán acceder vía Bilbao. Asturias, Castilla León y Madrid ,vía Santander.
Una vez en la A-8 tomar la salida 185 (Beranga, Noja, Isla). Continuar todo el tiempo en dirección Isla-Noja, hasta la 5ª rotonda (especialmente grande) donde seguimos dirección Isla-Arnuero. Seguir derecho 1,5 km. Y llegamos a Arnuero. Estamos a 200 m. de la Iglesia.
